World-first Triaxial Wireless Sensors Deployed

The first 14 Wi-care™ TRIAX sensors in the world were deployed recently by Nicolaides, a Chilean Company in Laja. The customer is one of the largest Pulp and Paper manufacturers in Latin America, engaged in integrated forest industry.

They requested 14 Triaxial sensors to be applied to 14 different assets. Assisting Nicolaides with the installation was Pascal Burrig from I-Care™.

The installation of gateway, extenders and 14 sensors was completed in 2 hours - far less time than required for installation of wired sensors, particularly over the long distances between assets (which was the case in this instance).

Within minutes of the gateway being installed, the sensors began acquiring and transmitting data and soon after, the first spectra was visible on the online cloud-based software platform, I-See. The customer has their own experienced Vibration Analysts (VAs) on-site, who will be analysing and reporting on the spectra themselves.

In instances where a site does not have VAs on-site, our team of highly experienced Reliability Engineers can provide remote analysis and reporting at more than 50% less than the average on-site Vibration Analyst recording and reporting.
